Richmond Interiors is a 1980s family business originally founded by Lex Tiggeler. At that time the company was still called de Spieghel and focused on importing, restoring and selling antique furniture. The demand for antique furniture continued to rise and so did the purchasing of de Spieghel. The next step for Mr. Tiggeler had set up his own factory to produce furniture for sale in the Netherlands. This turned out to be a great success and has been the basis for how we know Richmond Interiors today. In 2011 Lex Junior and Anne-Roos take over the company, the name is changed to Richmond Interiors and the antique style is said goodbye.
